    3 time world champion Ricardo Mayorga is in training for a final run in the sport that he hopes will lead to the middleweight title.
    Mayorga recently experimented with MMA but says he is glad to be back in boxing.

    Mayorga said: "I am glad to be back and i want the son of Chavez. Chavez was a true Champion, but his son is mediocre who lives of his fathers name. I would rather the champion Sergio Martinez, but if not i will slap Chavez Jnr like a woman".

    Mayorga added "I will beat up that little boy Canelo too".

    Chavez would literally damage and destroy Mayorga. This is a terrible fight for Mayorga at this stage of his career.

    Yup .

    Cant really see Mayorga getting the best of Chavez Jr at 40 years old combined with 2-3 years of ringrust .

    Mayorga will have me rooting for him though .

    The Mayorga that fought Vargas probably beats the Chavez of Vera I.

    That was, however, over six years ago.
