As the other poster stated, Wlad pulled out of a fight three or four days before the Dec 11th fight due to an injury. He rescheduled for April 30. Haye wouldn't allow it so Wlad dropped it to fight Haye July 2nd.

Yes Manny said he'd rather Wlad not fight Chisora but Wlad decides who he fights, not Manny. Wlad probably would have fought Chisora on April 30, 2011 but Haye didn't want to risk Wlad losing that fight or getting injured before or during the fight which would have delayed a July 2 date which was already way too long to wait for.

He wouldn't have signed for the first fight in the first place if that was true. You think Wlad negotiated and signed the fight in Decedmber and THEN Manny told Wlad not to fight Chisora and then Wlad tried to get out of the fight?

Not a lot was known about Chisora at the time. Manny met him at the press conference and saw he had no fear and was going to rough the **** out of Wlad.
Lots of fighters pull out of scheduled fights. Its called a duck.

Chisora is a crazy ****** and the most he would ever be capable of is repeatedly charging Wlad like Peter, Mormeck and Povetkin did and getting similar results.

 

Wlad also originally ducked Mormeck too due to fear. Only when the fans turned on Wlad and force him to rearrange the fight did Wlad grow the balls to face "The New Tyson" and then just about edge past him by the skin of his teeth.

 

Yes Wlad ducked Mormeck with his bullsh!t kidney stone problem and only fought the French Tyson at a later date due to public outcry and a threat by all the boxing orgs to ban him and his brother from boxing forever.
