If he beats Mayweather he will be#2 behind Rigondeaux

    P4P list will look like
    #1 G Rigondeaux
    #2 Amir Khan
    #3 Andre Ward
    #4 Manny Pac
    #5 Floyd Mayweather

If Khan wants to be #1 P4P, he has to become the only man to beat Mayweather and Pacman, if he manages to beat Pacman next

    #1 Amir Khan
    #2 G Rigondeaux
    #3 Andre Ward
    #4 Floyd Mayweather
    #5 Manny Pacquiao

Anybody who beats Mayweather & Pacman in 2014 is #1 P4P

mayweather has been most people's number one for roughly a decade now and is undefeated and more importantly seems set to stay undefeated. This along with victories over maidana and malignaggi who are both enjoying career revivals as well as the fact it would be his 3rd title at his 3rd weight class. All these factors combined would be enough to make a compelling argument for him to be number 1

Amir Khan is now back in San Francisco and training with Virgil Hunter in preparation for his bout against TBE Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

Getting excited already. This bout will be one for the ages.

I understand that Virgil Hunter, Khan's trainer, has encouraged Khan to do more mini-camps in between fights in order to correct flaws and improve as a fighter. I saw recently that Khan has returned back to San Francisco for a training camp. It looks like it'll be Mayweather in May. I'm just curious to hear from some of the people more involved with boxing from a training perspective. Do you all think Hunter will have him in training for the whole 3.5 months? Or is this just a mini-camp to stay sharp? I would think that without breaks it would be difficult to peak in May after such a long span continuously in camp unless he takes a few breaks in between.

He might not fight till June July August so hes best be doing small camps and not full training camps
