What does MAB do better than May?

He stays in the pocket to deliver more than one body shot. One of my favorites that he did was he'd slip a punch, going down and to the side, and rip two body shots off, all in one motion. Immediate payback for missing a punch.

He was also generally busier and stayed in range longer to deliver shots, but that got him hit more. It works out because his shots were usually the more telling.

At the lighter weights like 130, Mayweather did those things better and more, even if not as much as Barrera, more than he does nowadays. He was really special at those lighter weights.

 

Higher workrate maybe body punch

 

He's better at accepting the fights that people want to see. Other than that I think Floyd does everything better than MAB except maybe for body punching.

 

Compared to Floyd, the main difference for me is that Barrera knew how to fight like a hetero***ual.

 

Better left hook particularly when doubled up.

Mayweather is a seriously focused fighter but MAB's blank inscrutable face even when taking big shots to the head was pure stone.

Marco Antonio Burritos pretty good at Rabbit punching, hitting on the break, stealing rounds, sucker punching, hitting his opponent while he's down . Just to name a few.

 

Better jab, better bodywork, tougher overall (dont think he could survive a war like Morales-MAB or take a beating like he did from Pac in the 1st fight).

 

Hes better almost in every way.

Not to mention he has the balls to step up and fight PAC>

 

While I might give the edge to Mayweather if they fought at 130, its fair to say that Floyd has a natural size advantage, Barrera's best was at super bantam.

So what? Doesn't change my opinion that Mayweather has one of the most effeminate styles I've ever seen, increasingly so as he's gone up the weights.

 

Takes in real fights and great fighters lol
