Floyd is bluffing ever since from the start. Remember the 'take the test" and then followed by another bla-bla-bla and so on and so forth.
If Floyd is really serious and wants the fight from the start it should have done by now. Floyd is a con man-kid nobody would trust just like his dad.

Search for Schaefer Lashes Out at Arum Mayweather-Pacquiao. Bob stipulated that he wanted GBP to step aside for the Donaire-Mares fight so Bob could promote it. At the time, Donaire was somebody. Also search for DLH suing bob to get out of his contract. And Mayweather too. These are deep wounds. GBP is using Bob's tactics against him. Karma is a biatch.

Well...there goes 2015. What's contradictory is fighters have left their promoters to score a chance at Pac (not that HE asked, but ARUM did I bet)...Bradley did and now Guerrero is trying. Floyd left Arum to get a chance at ODLH and be his own boss. ODLH left Arum to be his own boss. Cotto left Arum to be his own boss and the Floyd fight was made.

Pac's a throwback fighter with what seems like an old school mentality that just wants to fight and not consider any of the business side. That may shorten his career, as the best options (except Bradley) are not with Top Rank.

 

guess floyd rather give oscar de la hoya more money for coke. the best business move for floyd would be to fight some top rank guys now that golden boy's stable has run dry.

 

Its not a good matchup.

I would be inclined on giving Floyd a pass for 3 reasons.

#1 - If in September its a fight everyone wants to see (Pac, Garcia, Martinez...) everyone will forget this stay busy fight.

#2 - Did everyone already forget that Floyd whupped the boogeyman last time out? You know the guy they said he would never ever fight.

#3 - Floyd had it set up so that could fight another boogeyman in Mathysse, that was the point of having him on the undercard! But Mathysse failed. Garcia is on record saying he aint ready for it so that plan falls through.

Whatever, if Floyd ends up fighting Khan he better make sure its a crowd pleasing fight. Would be the only way to redeem it.
