Booking April can always be postponed if Mayweather showed interest. Yet when Mayweather's response is "Leave your pomotion"(especially when he knows Pacquiao is already contracted for the entire year), "Beat Marquez and Bradley"(again Mayweather knows both aren't interested in a Pacquiao fight and are pricing themselves out) and "You have $68 Million problems, solve them first" then you should know that Mayweather isn't interested.

DLH also had problems with Arum, yet when he seriously(the keyword right here) considered a Pacquiao(Arum's biggest name on his stable) fight, he did all he could to make the fight happen. This is how you make fights you really want, you pretty much push whatever problem you have aside and negotiate the way all do. Demanding something new every day is a clear sign of zero interest.

Ive been wanting to see this fight for a long time. Just to see khan get embarrassed. I feel for Floyd though knowing him he probably wanted the Garcia kid. But they said they not ready so who else is left. Maidana being ordered to rematch broner. That just leaves two guys coming off wins Lara and khan. And we both know where the moneys at between the two. It would have been better though if khan fought Alexander and earned his shot. Either way this isn't a legacy building fight.

Oscar had a de facto piece of Pacquiao for that fight as well as those over the next two years, therefore making it not analogous at all.

Additionally, in the time before Mayweather made any statement at all about Pacquiao having to leave Top Rank, Arum already state he'd never work with GB on a Pacquiao fight again, and he's backed this up with his actions surrounding the timing of the Mosley, Marquez, and Bradley fights. Any symmetrical demand from Floyd (who now enjoys considerably more leverage) cannot be subject to criticism without recognizing that these were terms Top Rank actively created and maintained on their own end.

Alvarez was still a champion at Light Middleweight and was coming off a major victory. Sure the fight turned out to be one-sided for Mayweather but Alvarez was a legitimate opponent. Khan is almost a year inactive and coming off a life and death experience against Diaz who was moving down to Khan's requested catchweight. Khan is clearly looking for a big payday before he either retires or goes off to fight others that will eventually spark him. I would easily rate Khan far worse than both Ortiz and Guerrero fights combined.

not sure if you mean that pac became a global sensation under bob arums banner, so you are referring to staying loyal which HEY DUDE I GET 100%. but considering pac just got put in tax debt because of arum and koncz (if the stories are infact true) aswell as arum putting so many roadblocks for the megafight that pac has stated he really wants

^ i think loyalty is a 2 way street and arum is just a snake..

You got a legit source on that, or are you just speculating and trying to present it as fact? Last I heard he hadn't yet announced who he was fighting next.

You realize Arum is the one who started the leave your promoter out with Mares right? Or, are you too blind to see Floyd is making a mockery of Arum and Pac's situation? Pac was never going to fight Floyd, he's fighting in April. Of course, you guys expect Floyd to beg for a fight and change his May fight right? Floyd is on the A-side not the B-side.

So you're saying that being a fan and understanding what you're watching is nothing different than not being a fan and checking a fight out?

So I guess if I'm not a fan of basketball and check an event out I'll understand everything and recognize players pretty much like a hardcore fan would. Makes sense alright.

That's exactly my point. If Mayweather was being serious about wanting to make the fight he wouldn't be mocking anyone, he would negotiate like others do and make the fight happen.
