Why is it on Mayweather? Pac sets an April date so it's Mayweather who has to beg him for a fight? LMFAO! If Pac was serious he wouldn't have set an April date! Nice one *******.

Arum knows that Pac-Mayweather is a 50-50ish fight and he would not be the only promoter, so it's a really shaky proposition from his perspective. Let's say you make the fight and Pac loses, then what?
Is it better to make the mega fight( where you're splitting profits) or is it better to milk Pacman's superstardom for years and years against guys with name recognition but who are definite underdogs? The answer isn't so easy when you put yourself in Arum's shoes.

Nonsense, Pacquiao already said he's willing to fight in May if necessary. Obviously, Mayweather isn't interested so he might as well move on to any other date. All Pacquiao said was "I'm willing to meet up with Mayweather to make the fight" and Mayweather came out barking "Leave Top Rank", "You missed your chance!, I'm not helping you pay your debts!" and "Beat Marquez and Bradley".

Pac says a lot of things. I paid the IRS. I paid the Phils. The commission tests are good enough. He's a habitual liar. All I can trust is what he does. Things that actually happened or FACTS. He set a date for April back in Nov 2013. Irrefutable. Everything else is conjecture.

    lmao.

    that was the excuse.

floyd has to leave tr to make the dela hoya fight.

in reality, he ddidnt want to go through cotto, clottey, margo.

he could gone through with his contract, beat all of them, leave tr at end of the contract, then fight dela hoya.

after beating hatton, he realized the same guys he avoided were still there, on top of the martinezes/williamses /mosleys that were always there so he had to retire to avoid them.

instead a midget fulffilled his role and was awarded fotd and 8div champ in the process.

from the very beginning floyd isnt about the most money he can make. it was always about protecting his 0 using money as the excuse.

he was never interested in the dela hoya rematch, a potential 3m+ ppv buys. why? he already got out of tr. there was no need to fight cotto/clottey/margo anymore. mission accomplished.

you 100% right.. bob arum does not care for the sport , its fans or his fighters (to a degree)

he is a business man. his job is to make himself and his fighters the most money possible ... so of course it makes sense to not want pac-floyd. back in 09-10 when it mattered it was still floyd favored (not by much) so of course arum would rather just put him with easier guys to generate good money. even after pac robbed marquez in the 3rd fight bob arum went into complete damage control covering his fighter from floyd at every turn.. whilst floyd chased and chased (calling them out, getting his sentence pushed back etc etc) but no one wants to remember that... "floyd cant fight because his sentence clashes with the date" *floyd gets date moved back* "we need to build a stadium now, we can do it in november"

i **** you not its black and white right there that arum did not want this fight.. you can argue and say yer but neither did floyd but its almost impossible to deny arum stopped this fight

Hopkins lost by decision not by TKOs. And thanks for pointing that out, Pac had around a dozen fights so the he was NOOB EXCUSE don't fly. Pac not only came in over the agreed upon catchweight but he also used heavier gloves to cheat against Torrecampo. DAMN CHEAT!

"You don't need to be a fan of any sport to understand what you're watching"
