No, he was ironically chanting "Bute". Maybe later he switched to Pascal, but what I saw was that he was clearly mouthing Bute along with them at first and nodding vigorously.

I think Bute has less muscles today for this LHW fight than for his previous fights at 168. He'll weigh about the same anyway, something around 182. Pascal has also smaller muscles than usually. Probably part of Heredia strategy to help his stamina. Smart move for Pascal, he'll outweigh Bute anyway by something like 5 pounds.

Both men will be fast and strong.

Thanks, laffie! Hope so! Should be a great fight for us, the fans, just like they both promised.

Do you think Pascal will go all out trying to blow Bute out in the first few rounds, with explosive attacks, or will he faint more than usual?

He looks like he always does except that this time, he isn't as drained.

He's too tall for 168. And as he was aging, it was getting harder and harder...

I'm not sure. He could want to save his energy for the latter rounds and try to beat him to the punch meanwhile. Pascal looked really fast the other day. But I'm not sure he'll follow his game plan anyway. And even if he's fast, his accuracy is under Bute's one.

Pascal is impulsive and I don't think he can control himself. He can't even control himself in a press conference. If I were Larouche, my strategy would be to make him lose his control as soon as possible. He could forget all he learned with Jones jr and come back to his old habits.

I honestly don't know what to make of the Bootyman, I love his left uppercut and body punches so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt one last time.

Hmmm... I know exactly what you mean, and it's a very tempting analysis... but for some reason this time I'm thinking (to a small extent) that he has prepared mentally to stick to a gameplan much more thoroughly and that all this "I am impulsive" and "I am losing control" play is just a ploy to get Bute to think he will throw caution to the wind...

Pascal IS an instinctive, emotional fighter, but I think he's laid it on too thickly this time for me to believe him that he won't stick to a gameplan the best he can...

Not sure what Bute/Larouche could do to get him to act silly once the bell rings without taking huge risks... which Bute should definitely not do, especially early...

I think Pascal will try to surprise Bute with early attacks, but he will not do it continuously or recklessly, because it makes sense for him to save himself for the late rounds if necessary. Bute has been consistently caught well in the first few rounds by lesser fighters than Pascal, so I don't think Pascal needs to take risks or go crazy to get to Bute early.
