ROFL Floyd would never have got to the stage of quitting against an ATG legend like Sugar Ray, because he never would've even entertained the notion of climbing in the ring against opposition of that calibre. Floyd quit at stage one: At the idea of fighting great fighters while they're in their prime.

Duran's prime was as a Light Weight in his 20s.

Direct that to the person I quoted.

I put 'prime Duran' in quotations for a reason.

-I drew a logical conclusion from your revealing left field comments regarding Duran's ethnicity that you refuse to detract.

-What ownage do you speak of? The Machismo comment that blew up in your face? The revelation of your absurd racial conspiracy theory? Or randomly bragging about finding humor in Duran's scary knockout loss to the larger Hearns that destroyed any remaining crediablity you might have had at being objective?

-Duran doesn't need apologies, his legacy as a P4P great was sealed in Montreal.

Even Montreal Duran isn't prime Duran. Durans prime was during his long reign at lightweight.

I think his absolute prime was the De Jesus III fight and but for Duran, De Jesus might today be a household name.

I agree. If it wasn't for Duran De Jesus and Buchanan would be the ones having the trilogy. That would have been a cracking fight.

Thats a good call rossco ... What Duran did,in stepping up and beating SRL at welter just adds to his legacy... But vintage Duran was 135 ...

He's a top ten ATG for a reason bud :good

The *****'s need to lie down on this one. He's a great fighter no doubt but but Money May will be lucky to crack the top 30 when he retires. His resume doesht hold a candle to Durans. In terms of skill he's 2nd tier. Duran is top tier without question.

Buchanan and De Jesus imo would give Floyd hell at lightweight. I'm not saying they win but they would give him serious trouble.
