For anyone who has been keeping up with "The Wonder Kid," you would know that this man has heaps of confidence and I just don't see any of the super flyweights out there being able to handle this man. He is a work in progress, improving dramatically in every bout. Shows up everytime with ruthless aggression. Good punching technique and possesses great power as well.
What are his chances vs these 115 lbs contenders :think Ivan Morales Melvin Gumban McJoy Arroyo Matthew Villanueva Paul Butler Khaled Yafai Norasing Kokietgym
I think Rex in a year or two could be a legitimate world champion/#1 in the division, besting Narvaez and Kameda.
Why I think he can do this is because he has great footwork, good power, a long reach (compared to his division), he's taller than most of the boxers in his division and he has great heart. I've seen his last 3 fights and he's become such a great boxer-puncher. Able to use his footwork to mitigate a lot of his opponents aggression as well as throw his power punches.
