Andrej fonfara is next up for Adonis Stevenson

It was my understanding that IBF#1 Andrej fonfara was the next opponent
for Sergey Kovalev but it was just announced on fightnews.com that Stevenson
will be defending the WBC title against the pole. Thoughts on this fight?
You have to like the pole's chances as he can crack and has sneaky punches,
while the favorite for this bout still should be the Champ.

 

Is it easier or harder to KO somebody with a long neck?

But Fonfara will get KTFO because his defense consists of backing up with his hands up hoping for the best....

Fonfara only gets backing because he is Polish in Chicago, like a Puerto Rican in NYC

This looks like a showcase fight for Stevenson. Adonis should carry a big style advantage and win in impressive fashion. I think Fonfara, a solid, but not special fighter, will be made to look worse than he is.

Adonis by KO. I've seen the polish prince at UIC before. He's definitely hiding glass.

 

Fonfara by come from behind KO in the last round.

 

Fonfara shouldn't be underestimated he can score an upset here although it's quite unlikely. Either way I hope Stevenson wins, wouldn't want the big fight to be killed here.
