He said he'd move down for a big name like Floyd, Canelo or Cotto. Kirkland would probably prefer 160 anyway since he has a hard time making 154, plus there's a belt on the line

If Kirkland has no discipline to stay in 154 & focus on the division...I will just have to watch GGG demolish him at 160...Hoping GGG eventually moves down and get his body used to 154, unless he is thinking about a one time drain to 154, then going back to 160

    When were you hyping GGG?

154 is not the preferred option and not the one that will be taken - unless a very rich fight is offered to them - this much has already been made clear.

Kirkland is and was a MW - he moved down to (and had his 2 biggest fights at) 154 in the aftermath of the Ishida debacle when it was considered his early rounds punch resistance might be less of a problem at the lower weight.

No fighter at 154 or 160 would take Kirkland as an 'easy fight' - the guy may look vulnerable early but has strength and conditioning (when he's with Wolfe) that is off the charts.

Kirkland has fought as high as 163 and a half and has fought above light middle on about 12 fights. He beat Bryan Vera at middle. Although he's an undersized middle and should really wait to fight Andrade, at least he has fought at middle a number of times before.

Should satisfy everyone if they fought at a 158 catchweight?

A glass chinned LMW? Oh well, at least Kirkland is always in entertaining fights.

There is absolutely no problem making 154lbs under Ann Wolfe.

    NONE.

GGG fighting him is a disgraceful move on K2/Golovkins part.
