I doubt Froch could come up to 175 and beat Stevenson and I doubt Froch would do it either. He'd fight anybody at 168, but he knows he's no fit for light heavyweight

Oh man, I fear for Fonfara's health. That thin pencil neck that supports his head may not be able to deal with the impact, once Stevenson lands that straight left hand. Stevenson better be in shape though. Campillo was outboxing Fonfara, until he gassed big time.

There was a frontpage ESB article a couple weeks back that said kOvalev was returning on March 15 in Russia. Looking down the WBO rankings list the most workable opponent would probably be Uzelkov.

Easy fight for Stevenson. At least Fonfara will fight Stevenson which is something Ward will never to, not even at 168!

I hope he is fighting on Mar 15, but I haven't seen anything about it recently.

    This :good

Fonfara is still young, he's going to test where he's at with one of the best. He's got time to gain from this experience.

I think people are overrating Stevenson.

After all, he was knocked out by Darnell Boone.

After BHop and p'haps Shumenov, Bute and Pascal, Fonfara is all that's left at 175 - between them Kovalev and Stevenson have annihilated everyone else.

Who else is there? Alvarez? - well perhaps, but he's kinda average.. La Bomba? maybe but I doubt he wants to be battered again (and he is without doubt a LHW now) - Tommy Gun (again a guy who's a LHW rather than a 168er)?

It's kinda a shame, but I'm expecting Kovalev to be sidelined this year looking for fights which ain't gonna happen in the end.

Ah...f#kkit - let's see what comes outta tonights fights, the performances of either Bute or Pascal could make me think again...

Stevenson is always in shape. Did you see the Don George fight?
