He's about as Irish as any of the Eastern Europeans fighters who fight out of Germany are German.... However to answer your point I don't think it will affect him, that communist mentality doesnt have much room for stuff like that
He's such a communist that he fled and turned professional? The big but is his dedication. He has the skills, but I don't think he think puts the work it requires to be a champion.
I don't think ur mentality which has been forged over 20/30 years changes automatically when u jump on a speedboat to Florida I've rated this guy since prizefighter and have high hopes for him IMO only thing he lacks at HW is size, he's everything else But as u said the thing with Cuban exiles is dedication some have it (Rigo and Lara,) some don't (Solis and Gamboa).... Hopefully Perez does, it's looking promising after is promotion problems...
And when I say communist mentality I mean that fighting for everything u have mentality which comes from extreme poverty such as living in Cuba all ur life
I think that video might just have proved you wrong but that's beside the fact that you missed my irish irony
Heartless people don't embrace places like Ireland as their home, it's an emotional place for emotional people What I mean is, there is more to Mike Perez than meets the eye
exactly it didnt bother Kovalev , why should it bother Perez? it sucks and those are the risks....its part of the sport
Let it go man, he's a Cuban who just left Cuba a few years ago in order to go pro He may have an Irish wife and mixed kids, but that doesn't make him an Irishman... Besides all that, boxing is an individual sport, you can support which ever boxer you want, but lets not be silly and start twisting facts
coughcantspotironycough I'm aware he's cuban, do I really have to spell it out that I'm making a joke, "man"?
