It looks like the Mago fight took something out of Mike, mentally and physically. Given the terrible state Mago wound up in, it's easy to forget that Perez ate a ton of flush shots from a hard hitter himself in that war.

 

Best Perez can hope for here is the draw.

 

Solis is much better boxer.

 

It doesn't look good with this judges with no experience.

 

Draw or a MD for Takam. Perez was seriously poor, out of shape, lethargic, powder-puff punches, unmotivated, lazy.

The sad thing is, he could have easily won that, but he just didn't look like a man who cared, or wanted to win or do what was neccessary to win, like in the Mago fight.

It's not about what Watt is saying "the body hasn't recovered" - his body was mainly fine apart from being out of shape, what was missing was his mentality. When that goes you're nothing more than a journeyman.

 

I think it's because Perez was always overrated, Solis is better.
