    I have Pascal by stoppage within 9 rounds. He'll find a place for his right hand, box on the back foot primarily but raid Bute with quick bursts and gradually wear him down.

    I hope the winner doesn't go against Stevenson.. I'd like to see Kovalev-Stevenson after Fonfara not delay it further with this.

    I don't know that it goes up that much. He roughed Perez up and exposed him a bit and it would've been a nice feat if he was able to stop Perez in the second half - but at the end of the day he still proved to be incredibly slow to rev his engine (not even starting to build momentum until the 3rd and taking another 2-3 rounds to get into full swing) in the most important match of his career.

    He left the stronger impression in dominating the second half, but he still wasted the first half...and, ultimately, even when he came on strong in rounds 6-10, he was unable to even drop - let alone put away - a much smaller, tired, frequently stunned, and perhaps psychologically damaged opponent.

    A star was hardly born here.
