Obviously Pacquiao will not fight for free. It doesn't matter though about the details cause he is expressing his desire to get the fight sorted out while mayweather makes excuses. Good for manny hopeful he keeps talking and we can get the fight.

So Floyd negotiates his own fights now? All over the phone? And you think that is legit? I don't doubt the phonecall took place (which is all that confirms). It just isn't a legit offer.

Floyd's the Master of deflection. The King of smoke and mirrors. The Boss at fudging the issue.

    Deflect the issue onto drugs...

Deflect it onto the purse split...

    Deflect it onto Arum...

    Deflect it onto Manny's taxes...

    etc ad infinitum.

Not sure quite how he's gonna deflect this one though...

No doubt the master deflector will find a way. :D

Also, we forget just how terrible that $40 mil offer was in retrospect. Manny and Floyd were still P4P #1 and #2 when that offer was made, and Manny was consistently making over 1mil PPV numbers as well.

In fact, when the news came out that Floyd had only offered a straight $40 mil, with no cut off the PPV revenue, *****s were quick to hop on damage control and say that was a lie, it was misinterpreted, etc.

Even they knew how shitty of an offer it was.

Of course $40 mil sounds like a reasonable offer after Pac's been KTFO, lost two of his three last fights and hs tax problems.

I don't have a favorite fighter, I just love boxing. I try to be as objective as I can.

It matters to both of them because that's how they make a living. (Manny has another source of income) My point is both boxer can make a million PPV on their own. If you were Manny would you be ok with have only 10-15% of what could've been 200 mil to 300 mil worth of revenue?

It doesn't matter to me how much they earn, I'm sure there plenty like me who just want to see the fight. It's the *****s that are making an issue of how much Floyd should get paid and how much Manny should get paid.

40 mil is still a shitty offer even after his lose to Marquez. Can you imagine how many fans would pay on how well Manny would do against a real challenge?

Would you say the $40 million offer was more or less of a roadblock than the unhealed cut, unbuilt stadium, and the idea that the fight should be made for immediately when he left prison rather than on the biggest boxing day of the year?
