For Manny to publicly issue this kind of challenge forces him to stick to his promises but it's a promise that relies solely on the response from Floyd.

Floyd claimed Pack was "desperate" based on his financial woes......Manny responded on kind addressing that claim by challenging Floyd to giving up their purses to charity. ......A very honorable move.

similar to Floyd's move 4 years back that placed the ball in Manny's court. We all remember the accusations Floyd flung at Manny that followed with the "honorable" move of creating attention to "cleaning up the sport" with special drug testing.

The shoe this time is on the other foot........it's now Floyd who has to prove just how honorable of a man he is with this challenge. ....All the obstacles are out of the way...Drug testing is now longer an issue. ....cut offs for blood tests aren't an issue......The purse split is no longer an issue.

For Floyd to come up with yet another obstacle not to fight Manny would only make him look like he never wanted to face Manny and the reasons will be speculation that will never end. Floyd has always said he wasn't scared of Manny and that Pac would be easy work......He might as well prove himself while doing something as as great as helping out those who are less fortunate.

If Floyd agrees he will surprise a lot of folks who said he was ducking Manny all these years and change the perception most have that Floyd only about money. .....giving his moniker unwanted validation.

I believe that Manny is in financial trouble but I also believe that this fight to him isn't about the money......He can make millions facing Rios or Ruslan....Floyd can do the same.

This fight is history and means more than just money for Pac. So much so that he's willing to forfeit his biggest paycheck just to make this fight happen. There are athletes who care more about their legacy and footprint that they leave than the money the make doing what they love.
