I deleted bits of your post i disagree with, but im with you on most of it. Bull**** stoppage, bull**** scorecards, and Froch acted like a **** post fight. He got the shock of his life that night, and should have been way more humble and respectful just how good Groves really is

Could have been the combination of shock, humiliation (he really felt Groves was nothing but an immature little boy) and being booed by the home crowd that drew that reaction, i dont know. In time, he'll probably realise he acted like a real dick

Groves has earned a rematch. But Carl has long ago earned the right to avoid yet another brutal horrendous fight

Groves should just move on, and he seems level headed enough that he will do just that. He's got a great future, with or without the Froch rematch

If Froch can't beat Groves then why fight on to try to prove you are the best in the world (if that is his motivation). If it's about money, well Froch will earn the most for a Groves fight, he can go out on his shield in the fight, pass the torch to a fellow Brit in Groves and have an honourable no questions asked retirement. If he beats Groves then obviously the sky's the limit.

Froch definitely looked beatable in his last fight and you have to expect that a loss at this stage possibly retires him, and so if he faces someone else and loses he potentially loses out on the Groves payday too, so IMO it just doesn't make sense, whichever way you look at it.

Wow, half the people in this thread don't understand sarcasm when they're punched in the face with it.

Despite what he says, Froch knows he's not the best in the world, not by a long shot. He never was, and that's what makes such a limited guy constantly fighting the best and more often than not winning through sheer heart and toughness so awesome

As for the money, well Groves is still largely unknown outside big time boxing fans. It would sell big in the UK, but as Majr said, Froch wants to fight @ MGM, and he's been asking for Ward or Chavez. I hope to God he gets Chavez

How about Froch Chavez with Ward Groves as the co-main :yep

See I can't understand that you would want a Chavez fight over a Groves rematch. I can almost guarantee that Froch vs Groves II would have way more fireworks and be a much better fight than Chavez (who looked like **** recently). He still needs to get by Vera also. So which is it, do you want to see good fights or do you just want to see Froch win? As a fight fan I want the rematch.

I want to see great fights, but i've seen enough of them from Carl. I want him to earn a big payday and retire and raise his kid in good health

Froch's stock went down when he refused to fight Groves in a rematch. I never thought I would ever see Froch afraid of another boxer, but he is afraid of Groves...........
