Bunce needs to geta voice transplant his falsetto shrieks turn me off.

Lillis ? What makes him a pundit, what are his credentials?
Bellew is a hyped domestic level fighter.

Stevenson is an all round quality fighter who can box and punch, I pick him to beat Kovalev.

If Tony could cash the cheques his mouth keeps writing he'd be everyone's favourite boxer, thing is he can't. He's European level, and to be honest I don't see a problem with that he can earn a decent living and then go into training or whatever after. The problem he's got is Eddie isn't gonna be happy with that, he'd sooner talk him up, let Tony sign his own death warrant and cash out on him

True but c'mon Kovalev has a glass chin ? Bute won that fight ? ffs that's appaling from a paid pundit who's supposed to know what he's talking about.

you never know Farnell thinks he could be a world beater at cruiserweight and he is more qaulified than any of us so maybe tony will do something up there.

My earlier comments may have been a little bit harsh on Tony and i remember i actually did want him to win the Clev fight but ever since the Miranda fight i went off him.

    Yeah I agree!

But I dont take what they say literally, it's live TV commentary sometimes they get things wrong, say something stupid etc, not just boxing.

Who cares, you hear it! you think what a plonker and that's it! The week after maybe he says something in the exact same words you would have used.

Don't care what Farnell says or thinks, Bellew will get hurt against any top 10 Cruiserweight, most of them are Heavyweights who squeeze down to 200lbs.

Neither Bellew or Cleverley will do anything at Cruiserweight.

Problem with Farnell is noone would listen to him

Gavin was running his own corner.

Bellew was draining to 175 when Farnell was telling him to move up.

You need the fighters to treat your word like gospel if you are going to be a good coach. You can't be a best mate and a coach.

Call be crazy but IMO Tony went in there with an agenda, Stevenson embarrassed him and he was going to let everyone know Stevenson is the best in the division ahead of Kovalev, a sort of dig towards Clev.

You clearly have an agenda as with all your threads on Boxnation I would assume you are on the payroll. And what with Bellews less than friendly split with He who must not be named there is a clear conflict.

Therefore I have no interest on a view on Bellew that is clearly going to be Bias.

He hasn't covered himself in glory this year that is for sure.

Your bias was clear when you mentioned Bellew getting a slap off Clev, inferring he received a pasting, which surely only Vince can believe!!!

Tony Bellew Picks Stevenson to beat Kovalev should they meet

Former light heavyweight world title challenger Tony Bellew weighs in his thoughts on a potential Adonis Stevenson v Sergey Kovalev match.

Bellew who lost by knockout to WBC champion Stevenson in December is picking his conqueror to topple the unbeaten Russian puncher. Responding to fans who asked the liverpudlian’s opinion on a potential unification match between the two big punching world champions, on social networking site Twitter, the ’Bomber’ stated:

"On a professional level I feel Stevenson’s defence is a major underrated weapon! He’s hard to hit, that’ll be the difference I feel, both have got serious power and could wipe each other out in an instant so I just feel that Stevenson’s elusiveness will be the difference." he continued "I genuinely hope I am wrong though cos if they do clash I’ll be cheering for Kovalev as he’s a top fella, just my opinion"

It would be a mouthwatering clash for fans should it come off, but with Jean Pascals recent victory over Lucien Bute, Stevenson could be tempted for a massive payday in an all Canadian showdown.

No that's incorrect! I said Bellew got a slap off both Cleverly and Stevenson.

If you watched fight night you would have seen it was Tony Bellew who clearly had an AGENDA and it was his opinion that was clearly Bias. Bellew was clearly having a dig at Cleverly when he said Kovalev is running scared of Stevenson because he will get KO'd.
Bellew's performance on Fight night was shocking to say the least IMO and i hope it will be his last. I mean Bellew said there was no way Jean Pascal had a case for winning!!! But if you ask me Tony clearly had another AGENDA when he said that, but it has clearly backfired on him as well. Your absolutely right about one thing though, Bellew hasn't covered himself in glory.

How can anyone who has seen both of their post fight interviews in November, get the impression that Kovalev is the one who does not want to fight

Honest question, how can anyone come to that conclusion?
