    hope burns has some decent sparring partners for his training this time round. billy nelson had him sparring with guys straight out the amateur ranks last time and I think that's why he had a poor night against beltran

    Sparring for this one is excellent in Glasgow 3 weeks London 1 week back to Glasgow for the last 2 weeks hopefully we can get Jose Gonzalez over for the last 2 weeks, he not very amateurish is he?

    I've watch Abril many time as I thought he was going to be an opponent at one point, he's very good ,strong and technically good but I honestly think he's ideal for Ricky.
    Gamboa is very good as well although I think in his performances he's tended to blow hot and cold, I'd like to see if he could go a hard 12 round as I feel his stamina is very suspect.
    Both fighters would be great fights for Ricky and with luck they may happen this year
