No Kahn does not have an iron jaw, and I knew people would go there, what Kahn did have in that fight was running shoes, something Broner didn't have on, which is why I made reference to his bad defense ( I'd cement boots). I think it say alot about Broner for finishing the fight on his feet when you consider he really was just a blown up LW, who was overrated.
Wet toilet paper can actually be clumped back together... Broner never fully recovered against Maidana.
So you criticize Khan for running but give Broner credit for his acting job in round 8, when he was gonna get knocked the f out? Khan was a hell of a lot more man than Broner was while hurt. And Broner is not a blown up Lightweight. He was a huge Lightweight. He's a Welterweight.
Yes that butt thing was a ***** move but he was taking a LOT of punishment and didn't quit, his jaw was broke as well wasn't it? It takes a lot of heart to finish the fight when taking such a beating. Although Maidana didn't manage to put Khan down, he KOed some other good fighters, he has power.
Super Hans First off I'm not criticizing Kahn, he did what he had to do in that fight, which was get on his bicycle or he would have most likely got KO'd. Yes I do give Broner credit, because despite what you think Broner could have folded early in that fight because it was clear to see he may have been in over his head, but he fought on, and even had his moments late in the fight where he had the naturally bigger and stronger fighter hurt. And once again, Broner IS a blown up LW.
Ermmmm....where have his last two fights been? He's a Welterweight. He walks around at bigger weights between fights than the top 4 welters Mayweather, Pacquiao, Bradley and Marquez.
His jaw wasn't broke, but even if it was, did Ricky Burns pull out a ***** move against Beltran? Did he run off without doing a post fight interview? The reason he did the ***** move was to get Maidana DQ'd, when he said he "doesn't know if he can continue" it was because he wanted to quit, so his heart has to be questioned even if he did carry on (once he'd taken another of a time out to clear his head from the earlier knock down).
Khan took more than one big right hand from Maidana in the 10th. Khans problem is in his Legs not his jaw!!! With the exception of Prescott he has never been knocked out. What has happened is he got dropped and he lost his legs and couldnt recover. His move to 147 and spending nearly a complete year in the gym will help with that. Against Garcia he wasnt really even hurt he just had no control over his legs what so ever. I expect him to be able to walk through mayweathers straight right hand and take his left hook. I think he will surprise alot of people with his "glass jaw". He will lose the fight but it wont be via knockout.
First off, it's Khan, not Kahn. People say Khan got on his bicycle but he also traded with Maidana in spots while hurt between rounds 10 and 12. He also had a chance to pull an acting job like Broner did because he was punched hard in the back of the head on the break. But Khan continued to fight like a man. And no. He's not a blown up lightweight and he's not a naturally smaller man than Maidana. Who is the bigger man naturally, when not boiled down: http://sportsbycolin.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/BronerMaidanaPrePC_Hoganphotos3.jpg
Bingo. Imagine if Broner traded with that chin rather than covering up like a scared armadillo and not throwing any punches. Glass all over the show.
I think the jury is still out on Broner's jaw. he was put on ***** street more than the champion emeritus of glass jaws so he has a lot to prove now.
