Got to hand it to Cotto, he's the Puerto Rican Mosley. Guy fights everybody on their terms.

The rematch against Margo was at a catchweight, at Cotto's request.

His rep was speaking and said Cotto wants to win the real Middleweight TItle at its original weight. As it should be won!
Then said he shouldn't say anymore as the promoter will soon release details.

One item he mentioned was that Martinez always comes in a pound or two lighter than 160 anyways.

Looking forward to this one....I don't think it will be easy night for Martinez especially if he keeps his hands low.....he will get a full serving of stiff jabs all night.

I still believe that Cotto is going to go to the body early and often!!!!!

If this is true then i think it's part of a stategy by Cotto and Roach to let Martinez come in as big as possible and hope it slows him down.

At 39 years old and being over a year out of boxing, if Martinez enters the ring on fight night around 175lbs, it could effect his speed and stamina in the second half of the fight.

I'm sure the plan for Cotto will be to use his feet and make Martinez use up energy trying to catch him.

Man when this fight was first mentioned I gave cotto a 0% chance of winning. Now that a few weeks passed, just thinking about sergios last performance & injuries really makes me think it might be a 50/50 fight. We don't know how sergio will perform. If sergio performs like he did for chavez then I favor martines. Cotto fights close to his opponets & Martinez is great at using distance. If Sergio is healthy then I favor sergio.

I can see Martinez's knees going in this one. Malinaggi commented on the way Cotto committs all of these crazy fouls like kneeing you which the refferee misses. Cotto will use these subtle tricks and it could lead him to victory.
