if you think Froch has seriously aged over last few fights wait till you see his next bout after taking them heavy heavy shots against Groves

Froch should go all out to fight Bute for his swansong

Froch is all about getting the most money he can with the fights he has left he migt say it's "legacy" but to me it looks like money and Bute won't draw anything else to that they missed a trick not putting the Bute fight on PPV everyone thought he was a beast at the time and it would have sold to the casual fan but after Froch blew him out like that it won't sell for a rematch.

Froch is now looking for highest reward/lowest risk-Chavez ticks the boxes

Not saying its the highest earner but when considering the risk its his easiest chance of a biggish payday

if they put a chavez/froch fight on that mexican day it would sell big time and if Froch won he would probably think he was the second coming of Christ ....

It would sell to the Mexicans and in the States but it wouldn't sell on PPV in the UK IMO, Only the hardcore in the UK know who Chavez is.

If Froch ducks the Groves rematch and fights Chavez, I hope to god that Chavez somehow manages to KO Froch, Chavez can bang and Froch will not be hard to find, so factoring in the damage he received in the Groves fight and there would be a minute chance of poetic justice. I will be backing Chavez in any Froch match up, as laughable as that sounds and I will prey he will actually train hard for the fight, in an actual gym, rather than training by smoking weed and doing pushups in his living room.

This is completely pointless from Groves and a tactic that will serve to only annoy Froch further. There is no way the IBF will order a rematch is there?! No chance. 'Yeah sorry George it was stopped prematurely and the ref was biased. You didn't get hit with 5 consecutive shots without reply and your head wasn't swinging about like it was on a piece of string. Also when Mr Foster stopped it, you falling backwards into the ropes was a sign that you were perfectly fit to continue'.

Enough of this garbage already. Sure Groves was winning the fight
and the stoppage was premature. But there is no doubt that Groves was in deep trouble at that point and say the ref had given him a standing 8 count, who would have picked Groves to win the fight from here on out. I can't believe how many morons on here are calling Froch a coward and so forth. Absolute lunacy.

hmmmmm would you rather have the whole mexican nation of boxing fanatics plus the ones in the U.S and all the U.S boxing fans buying PPV(that you get a cut of) or the Nottingham massive?

anyway we have all been played for mugs.........

the whole 'no rematch' thing is a tactic and smokescreen to create even more hype and sell out Wembley Stadium in may/june!!!i feel it in my bones i tell ya

You mean that corrupt piece of **** Howard Foster who was escorted out of the arena by security hiding under a jacket like some guilty child killer being led out of court.

Actually the more I think about this and the more Groves goes on about it, the more I think Froch should deny him the re-match.

It's obviously eating him up a bit so imagive if it never happens....Groves needs to grow up move on (better man) kind of thing...He's not, he's basically telling Froch I need this! which put's Froch in prime position even more so than last time. Plonker.

Money decides these things and if Eddie Hearn wants the IBF to enforce it a rematch could happen.

Why would he move on? He was robbed of a chance at a world championship. It's not as if Froch beat him fair and square.
