Probably because it is a BIG jump.
The smaller weights are 7lbs or less between them. Light Heavy to Cruiser is a massive jump. Maybe he would ideally box around 185 and was avoiding the naturally larger fighters dropping down to box at 200?

Let's be honest, neither of them are likely to fair paticularly well and I doubt either will do any better than they have at light heavyweight.

Just voted for Clev by mistake, I meant to vote for Bellew. Don't think either will do great at the weight but Bellew is a better natural size. Clev aint a cruiser!

Yeah, holder of a world championship and a two time world title challenger - no shame in that.

Clearly Iceferg doesnt see this as much of an achievement, only he can explain why because neither should be embarrassed by their achivements

With Cleverlys title runand 'world title win' against Alesky Kuziemski (who?) it's quite easy to explain why.

He was the quintessential paper titlist. Same as Scott Quigg is now.

Why they would be embarrased by their efforts as boxer? If they should be embarrassed or havent done well then most boxers might as well give up now.

Iceferg rarely responds to people calling him out on stupid statements though so probably will enver know, just an odd claim to make that they havent done well for themselves

    :good:deal

    This.

Seems to be a culture now amongst boxers to blame their weight as soon as they lose a fight.

I think Bellew will do better at cw as he is one and hits harder then nathan

Cleverly seems more naturally gifted, with Booth maybe he can make something of himself.

Bellew...well he just looks like he doesn't belong in there, I'm sorry to say.

    Yep it's been announced.

Old Vince said too much complacency was setting in with him and Nathan.

Hasn't it already been said Clev is going to drop back down? I think I heard it on Ringside last week?

I didn't say that either of them should be ashamed in that. Nobody who gets in the ring should be embarressed about how they do although Bellew should be embarressed about the way he behaves. Fair does Cleverly was a world champion but there are several guys better than him who never win titles and Cleverly has never actually beaten a world champion neither has Bellew. I just got the feeling that both of them were glorified euro level boxers, I also felt that Bellew should not have been given his seconed shot as he appeared to clearly lose to Chilemba in the first eliminator.

Both were found severly lacking when faced with the top guys in the division and I can only see them both being slightly worse at cruiser weight. I would actually like to see them in fights domestically against the like of Dickinson and Askin which would interesting fights but they both seem to think they are above that and I'm not paticularly excited about seeing them scraping past a few shot gatekeepers and then getting knocked out by Huck, Lebedev, Jones, Hernadez or Wlodarcyzk.
I never said I don't see it as much of an achievemnet. My mate is British cruiserweight champion and I doubt I could reach his level. I actually think Dickinson would smash both of these now but I doubt he will get a shot against either and I'm not paticularly excited about seeing how either of them fair because I doubt either can do much beyond domestic level at cruiser weight and they both seem to think they're above that.

I don't remember ever talking to you on here but I often do ignore people who come across as trolls, like yourself. Can you please tell me though why you feel my statements are "stupid" and why you keep bringing up the word "embarrased" as though it is a reference to something I said.
