If Broner would've went @ 140, he would've been schooled by any of those top guys from there.

Bute can level down his competition. Get active, and relearn to win.
Broner has hit his peak. A peak that is all to beatable for even the crudest of punchers.

Bute showed that he couldnt be blasted out. Point well made. He still has a future, just not at the very top.

Broner could beat Allahkverdeiv, but Bute would MURDER Steiglitz. So how is Broner more redeemable than Bute??????:huh:huh:huh

He hasn't hit anything he's only 23 if he stayed at 135 he would still be unbeaten today. Broner needs to get serious about the sport and next get a real trainer, then move back down to 140 or 135. Bute is over 30 had two loses in a row is past his best he's had his day. If he moves back down to 168 he would get killed by either Ward, Froch or Groves. If he stays at 175 Stevenson Kovalev kill him and Hopkins beats him to.

Well Froch may not have technically "blasted him out" as he made it into the 5th round, however the fight was an emphatic, resounding, totally one sided, vicious beating, the sort of thing you'd expect to see if Froch was sparring some young, novice kid and decided to go all out on him. Not what you'd expect to see form a guy people were claiming to be the number 1 in the division. It was like man against boy, losing is one thing, but losing like that is another.

:nono Not a bum unless you were talking about your lost Daddy:lol:

Bute is finished and at one time he was a decent boxer but far from an ATG or a bum

The high level of sack sucking, and pure hate posting is the reason that I along with many other "oldtime" posters stopped coming around as much.

Anyone that can't even admitt that Broner is a talent isn't worth debating about boxing with.

Both are on the same level.

I wouldn't call Pascal all that much greater than Maidana in their current forms whatever that means.

Their top wins are comparable in my opinion.

Bute had bigger hype. Broner still has many years and opportunities to live up to his.

Broner is no less than a B fighter...with the talent to be elite, if he seeks to get better. Bute...not so much.

Ok i get it you are huge Broner fan, doesnt make him more talented than he is, simple as that, everyone looked at him like next FLoyd because he said so, but has no defense did you actually see how wide shots Maidana landed were??? Did you see Broner could not adjust at all, he does not have great Ring IQ thats fact, he has no footwork this is fact if he had he would be able to get out of Maidanas way, and his punch output is awful dont know which of these facts got you butt hurt :hi:
He beat up smaller fighters lets see him now against fighters his size...

Really gets old seeing beltholders and world class fighters getting slagged off as journeymen and bums. You're not allowed to hit a man while he's down in the ring, but that doesn't stop jackasses from kicking them when they're down outside of it.

I don't care if Broner or Bute got overhyped by fans and/or the media; 99.9% of pro boxers today would be ecstatic to have their talent, skill, accomplishments, and earning power. So they stack up short of HOF/AGT caliber. Guess what? So do most fighters; that's why it's a special achievement.
