Adama isn't exactly a name fighter, but I am a little surprised that isn't being televised. I actually thought that HBO would take every opportunity to showcase Golovkin...

Adama is a bum. You can't expect to be on HBO fighting bums like Adama. Just because you want to watch that trash does not mean most boxing fans want to. HBO has lost lots of money showing Wlad fights. After the way Wlad cheated agaisnt Povetkin they have learned there lesson. Amercian fans do not watch trash fights. Who knows maybe Epix will show GGG's next fight.

HBO likes GGG so you can't blame them. You should be mad a GGG for not stepping up. He is already old and he still is taking (stay busy fights). That is fine if he wants to do that but don't expect to be on HBO. And him calling Mayweather out tells me he is just looking for a big pay day without earning it.

Yeah, because that's why the "names" @160 aren't getting in the ring with Golovkin. (sarcasm)Golovkin just doesn't want it(sarcasm):D
This is real life, not a rap video. GGG's management can't dangle someone off a balcony or stick a gun in someone's mouth and force them to sign the papers.
The other belt holders and name guys @160 don't want to get hurt and embarrassed on HBO because it's bad for their business. We understand that, but it doesn't mean that we have to like it.
Fun time is just about over for the excuse makers.

HBO should put some pressure and money to get Golovkin a really good opponent. Macklin went 11 rounds with Martinez was kicking his arse, Golovkin stopped Macklin early with a body shot. So, Golovkin is getting the best he can get. HBO wants Golovkin to fight Kirkland for some reason, which can happen, but Golovkin wants the other champions. Golovkin gets criticism because he is so good, I don't see the haters wanting Quillin to fight him, or Sturm, Martinez, Geale................

Vladimir Klitschko is the world heavyweight champion, he fought an beat the other champions except Vitali, that's the reason the haters hate him so very much...........

Yeah it sucks. It was the same last time in Monaco. I think it was an internet stream PPV even. Who pays for that?

I actually like PPV streams and hope more promoters encourage that. Sometimes I prefer watching live fights online(and discussing them online) rather than having a gathering or watching alone at home.

i liked the broadcasters of the Ishida fight MUCH more than the HBO gang (and i'm an american) so this doesn't bother me at all. how anyone can hate on triple G amazes me. the guy is simply a phenomenal talent with interesting bouts and willing to fight anyone who'll step up.

You mean those streams are actually good? My experiences with free live streams aren't too encouraging.
Guess I'm just too old to pay for things on the internet. If it's on the internet it's free!!

Golovkin vs Ishida was on youtube about an hour after Ishida's head hit the ring apron. I imagine this fight will be on there ASAP as well.
Maybe one of your grandchildren can load it up on youtube for ya, Gramps.:rofl

**** that. I always considered myself pretty up to date. Someone the kiddies think is a cool guy.

Then I found myself searching for a suitable smiley to go with the above and realization struck me...

    I'll never be the same...
