Mr.Mayweather stepping up to 160 and beating Golovkin better than Ray/Hagler?

There are many reasons as to why this could be true. Note: I'm not saying Golovkin is better than Hagler. Thanks. So spare me the "Hagler is an ATG, Golovkin is not" bs!!!

1. Hagler was already past his prime, and was part of two huge wars before his fight with Leonard (Hearns/Mugabi).

And when 87 came along, he seemed to have taken his foot off the pedal in terms of boxing. I've seen several interviews of him during that time and it didn't feel like he had that fire in his eye anymore.

2. Ray was coming off eye surgery, fair. But it was already properly healed by the end of 85 and he had an entire year to prepare for Hagler. Mr.Mayweather will be 37/38 if that fight ever materializes, out of his prime and he's at an age where most ATGS are completely shot/retired.

Ray was 31 when he got in the ring with the middleweight king.

3. Golovkin is in his absolute prime.

4. Mr.Mayweather started his professional circuit at super featherweight, Ray started his at WW.
