Hahaha. Just stop. Macklin is a better win than a shot to **** ex-title holder and Audley Harrison. GGG's competition has been far from stellar but compared with wilder's resume there is no comparison.

BS Macklin is about on the level of Audley Harrison. There both trash. We all know how it works on this forum. I'm not sold on Wilder neither. But I'm also not sold on GGG. They both have not beat any top fighters.

Yes, it's part of my job description. I've been a boxing fan since the mid-80s. I have a degree in computer science and math, so I married the two and do statistics, analysis, and programming for a boxing site. I also do decently betting on the sport. So objective analysis is part of my job; I'm hip-deep in it, sometimes too much. Who are you accept some idiot's alt?

Usually I take everything people claim with a grain of salt but for some odd reason everything you present seems quite plausible.

On a side note: What do you think of Richard Dwyer? He gets a bunch of crap on here but I like his stuff. Speaks well and presents a likeable package, except when he goes off the deep end about racial discrimination.

I've subscribed to Dwyer for years. He does a pretty good job and his betting strategies are pretty sound. He's made a couple of blatantly bad calls, but haven't we all? I disagree with him sometimes, and I've thought he went over board on a couple of racial rants, but he's also hit a couple of the racial issues on the nose, IMO, too. All in all, I like him and much of his analysis, even if I don't always agree 100%; maybe more like 85%

Sounds like interesting work, Bustajay. My wife and I are in the planning stages of a iOS boxing app (she's a huge fan too). We haven't been able to find a good one, so we've decided to develop our own. I don't know if it's against the forum rules to mention it, since that would be advertising, but maybe I could get away with saying more about it once it's done.

No he's not. He was legit top 10, with robbery loss to a titlist and good effort vs The Champ. Audley has never been top 10, contested for titles, nowhere near.

there isn't much to shout about at 160 though
if GGG moves up once (if?) he inherits, we'll have to wait and see
