Floyd is close to feather fisted. He could beat Duran but only by running and a very narrow decision. One of tjose decisions where the loser looks like he wasn't in a fight.

He's not flat footed but he had trouble with guys who had speed and used movement they gave him fits and PBF is that type of boxer who can.

Floyd lost to Castillo at 135 and I'm supposed to believe the best LW of all time had no chance. Lol

I never said he didn't. He has a good chance. But I believe it would be by a narrow decision like he beat JLC, even the second fight. Hr has thr reflexes to beat anyone. You say Floyd has a higher IQ than Leonard. Why? Floyd has bettrr reflexes but IQ? I give it to Floyd that he has the best reflexes of all time.

Simple, PBF would never allow himself to be dragged into a slugging match with a fighter like Duran who loved this type of fight. SRL did with Duran in their first fight giving away his height, length, movement, speed and reflex advantages by doing so.:deal He wouldn't do it, he doesn't care about appeasing fans he's going to fight his fight at all cost wining is his only objective and he's obsessed by it. That's why I say he has a higher ring IQ than SRL. SRL allowed his emotions to get the best of him instead of remaining calm and boxing he was pissed off and brawled fighting Duran's fight, in the rematch he realized his mistake and boxed making Duran quit but it took a L on his record for him to figure that out. PBF would never do that because of his superior ring IQ which also includes the ability to remain calm and fight your fight impose you style on the fight no matter what.:deal

He's a phony, pretending to be a Duran fan. He's living off the "no mas" because it stings that he has nothing else. Duran had more than 100 fights in which he quit in 1. HE QUIT VS A GUY WHO HE HAD ALREADY BEAT. Just think about that for a second... Any intelligent person would realize that the fight means nothing. Sure it made Duran look bad and that's something he needs to live with. But this fool is trying to make it seem as it completely erases everything Duran did lol. What would a person try to insinuate by continuing to bring the "no mas" fight? That he's a *****? Even after taking on bigger, more dangerous challenges? It's stupid really. Once again, he quit vs a guy he had already beat lol. And what's even more ridiculous, is the fact that you can't even use the re-match to try to analyze a hypothetical match-up vs anyone else. That fight was practically inconclusive. If you're a trainer, why the **** would you study the 2nd fight to analyze Duran, when he quit and was not in his optimum condition? Unless you're banking that he's going to quit again or that you're also trying to take advantage of him lol. You'd have better luck with Duran coming in fat than him quitting since the odds are 1 out of 118 fights . You can tell a lot from a person who continues to bring up the "no mas", even after they know what Duran did his whole career. "Harsh" is not the word. More like hate.

The level of comedic gold here is off the charts.

You 'defend' Duran's quitting because, you know, he had already beat the guy and that fight 'means nothing'. Yeah, cool story, bro. :verysad

You then wonder why a trainer would analyze this fight for any potential matchup. Because obviously, nothing can be learned from watching the tactics and strategy that so frustrated an ATG that he decided he no longer wanted to compete. Do you really believe that? Seriously, you honestly believe that?

Bruh, your emotional investment in this is impacting your common sense.

That fact that he quit is one thing. But more importantly, it's WHY he quit that is germane here. And WHY he quit, is because he was flustered when faced with a supreme skillset of defense, speed, accurate shots up and downstairs, and movement. His opponent was not letting him do the things he was used to. Oh, and add to that being clowned.

In this 'hypothetical' matchup, I can't understand how anyone could think this would not be relevant info for a trainer or when analyzing a fantasy fight with Mayweather. A Welterweight PBF isn't going to fight like D. Moore or Iran Barkley, so Duran's exploits in those fights are meaningless for this discussion. And for all the 'trouble' JLC gave Mayweather, he might have won, AT BEST, 9 out of 24 rounds, with 4-5 of those coming against an (allegedly) bad shouldered Mayweather, and never hurt PBF. Hatton's 'pressure' got him ringposted. Why is so crzazy to believe that a skilled Mayweather could compete with the Duran of Montreal?

And there was nothing 'inconclusive' about that 2nd SRL/Duran fight. Boxing is the ultimate test of one man attempting to impose his will on the other. Leonard so thoroughly got in Duran's head that he literally walked off the stage. Duran saw the writing on the wall, decided he couldn't win and longer wanted to compete because of it.

    It couldn't be more definitive.

Like I said earlier, this fanboy babble aint a good look. At all.

Why all this back and forth,Floyd would never get in the ring with a monster like this ..And Floyd doesn't have the power to keep Duran honest he is not the puncher Leonard was !

Calling someone fanboy = Don't have **** to say. Should I call you hater boy? What terms are you kids using now a days?

I see you're still struggling with simple logic lol. Don't know what other way to explain things to you. I tried to be elementary but you're still struggling. Guys are jumping in but you're still confused. Typical case of person believing what they want to believe. That's fine. You still aren't getting that W :nono.

Sure you can learn tactics and all but if you're getting them from a fight in which you know Duran was not in optimum shape, what good will it do for you? Think about it fool. Plan A didn't work in Montreal! So what's left? Box from the outside right? Why would you need the 2nd fight to realize this :patsch smh. Hilarious how you're riding the word "flustered" lol. I love how opinions turn into facts in your head ha.

According to your expert analysis, the 2nd match would be ideal to study, even after knowing Duran wasn't 100? Even after people are still trying to figure out why Duran quit (including Leonard)? And most importantly, the fact that any person with half a brain would realize that the first fight would give you the same answer...you'd still use the 2nd fight to study? GENIUS! Let me give you a standing ovation for that expert analysis :happy. I'm just going to assume, you're a slow learner.

I see you have a lot of opinions about the 2nd fight. That's fine and all but don't act as if they are facts. I can turn opinions into "facts" also. Let me give you mine. I never bought any of that "flustered" BS. IMO Duran quit because he knew he wasn't going to win the fight that night. It's also possible that he was physically Ill, like he claims but I never believed that it was the real reason why he quit. Stomach cramps weren't going to make him quit. It's well documented that he took the fight that soon, because of the money. Leonard ADMITS, trying to take advantage of Duran, knowing his bad habits. Duran realized during the fight, that he just didn't have it to win that night. He didn't take the fight as serious as the 1st. If you know Duran well and how he fights, it was easy to see that he lacked energy and intensity. That's what I believe. Of course it's only my opinion. Leonard was extremely tough to beat. You needed to be 110%. Especially at that time. Duran took the fight lightly and paid for it. Made himself look bad. And that's that. It's his life. Still, there isn't much logic in trying to study a fight like that, knowing everything we know about Duran before and after the fight. Pretty stupid to be honest. All you need to do is THINK. If the answers are definite, why the **** is Leonard still trying to find out why Duran quit? Don't be an idiot man. Use your brain. Get a damn clue :?. Leonard is giving it to you.

So you're still going to Panama "hater boy"?

Yes and floyd is older than cotto and also smaller,i wonder what you think about floyd?completely shot?flat footed?bloated?ancient? :think

floyd is soon reaching 40years and is way over his prime weight.still these morons compare shot to **** version of floyd against ATG fighters in their prime :patsch

it's funny how people always "forget" floyd is old and bloated LW.

matchup against prime duran and prime mayweather at LW is near 50/50 on paper, just accept that. :deal
