it wouldn't (IF pac was a has been even) because Floyd fighting pac is important for both their legacies - regardless of the outcome

belts don't count for much when you're pac or Floyd, but it does add to the accolades

Never mind about Floyd lacking killer instinct what the cowardly punk lacks is a set of balls. Bet he showed killer instinct when he was beating his babies mama's in front of the kids

    good grief....
Floyd's KO ratio was impressive before he started moving up
the reason why he's still undefeated (yes, as well as dodging a couple of bullets) is because he's a very smart operator in the ring

If he had a killer instinct, he would still be in jail for murdering females instead of just three times of domestic abuse

Here are quotes from boxers and insiders. All are well respected and I hope unbiased. Some of these people have even bashed Floyd for not making the fight with Pac--Tyson, Hagler, Holmes.

First off, you have to admit that he's the best of his time. The best of his generation. He beat everybody in three, seven divisions, regardless. I'm not familiar with how many, but he's conquered a mountain of divisions. You have to rank him the best fighter of the generation, at least --- Mike Tyson Jul 2013

Now I believe Mayweather, by sitting on the outside he would have the advantage because he knows now that Pacquiao don’t have a chin like he used to, plus he would be a little nervous about being stopped or knocked out again. --- Marvin Hagler Dec 2013

There was a long period during which any talk about boxing always focused on the heavyweight champions, great big men like Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano and Muhammad Ali. In time, though, the baton was passed to Sugar Ray Robinson, then to yours truly, to Oscar De La Hoya and now to Floyd Mayweather, Jr. --- Sugar Ray Leonard Nov 2013

I look back through history at the Sugar Ray Leonards, the Roberto Durans, your Tommy Hearns and Mohammed Ali, who will always be known as the greatest no matter what, but I am struggling to find anyone better [than Mayweather] at the moment. --- Ricky Hatton Sep 2013

I just think Floyd Mayweather can beat anybody. Technically and defensively I think he's too good for anyone. Period. --- Carl Froch Jun 2013

But he always has problems with Marquez. Floyd is physically bigger and skillful, so he would have a slight edge, I think. --- Emanuel Steward Jan 2012

... Sugar Ray Leonard, good guy, great fighter, personality wise, Duran, all the guys. I can't say anything negative about the fighter's of today except they just can't fight as good as Mayweather. He outshines them. --- Larry Holmes Apr 2013

Mayweather is the best fighter in the world and he has got great defense and is a good, fast punch -- Juan Marquez May 2013

Mayweather’s too smart [for Pacquiao], he’s too fast --- Robert Garcia Jan 2014

Mayweather is the Best in this Era --- Shane Mosley Oct 2013

Mayweather hits harder than Pacquiao & Canelo --- Shane Mosley May 2013

I saw what everybody saw, that Pacquiao lost. The real pound for pound is Top Rank. They create a figure that doesn’t exist. Pacquiao is not the pound for pound. Pacquiao is a fake. --- Sergio Martinez Dec 2011

Not fear of Pacquiao. Floyd fears nothing and nobody. --- Bert Sugar 2011

Boxing is like jazz. The better it is, the less people appreciate it. --- George Foreman

Pac 61% KO ratio, Mayweather 58% KO ratio

Its pretty much fact that Margarito was ineffective at 154. His only advantage was his size and strength at 147 but when he fought fighters that where his size or stronger he looked ordinary even C class.
