I see all these We hate Floyd Posts and We Love Manny Posts, Why is Manny considered second tier as far as PPV goes. Man his last one didn't even do 350K. Manny is obviously more popular and love by more fans.

So why doesn't Manny demand the same amount of Money as Floyd..

800K is pretty good being that the Ghost offers nothing as far as marketing is concerned. But not losing isn't the only thing Andre Ward has never lost and he can't sell out a Wisconsin Barn

No loss that happens when a pro is 37 or older greatly hurts their legacy. I know this is a "what have you done for me lately" sport, but c'mon.

Correction, his last fight name 470k. Keep in mind that Pac vs Rios was marketed as Pac's come back fight; his tune up. 470K for his tune up after his lost to Marquez is good. Pac usually draw the attention (aside from Cotto) on his own. May fought boxers with a healthy fan base, except for Ortiz, not to mention good under cards for the event.

We can't really tell how much Pac or May really make. Pac is not vocal with how much he makes compared to May, who's always boasting how much money he has. For all we know, Pac is just being humble and May, well, he just being him.

As far as PPV goes, Here are Pacquiao's for 2012.

November 14, 2009 Manny Pacquiao vs. Miguel Cotto Firepower 1,250,000[136] HBO
March 13, 2010 Manny Pacquiao vs. Joshua Clottey The Event 660,000 HBO
November 13, 2010 Manny Pacquiao vs. Antonio Margarito The Eighth Wonder of the World 1,150,000[137] HBO
May 17, 2011 Manny Pacquiao vs. Shane Mosley The Undaunted 1,340,000[138] Showtime
November 8, 2011 Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Marquez III The 25th Round Begins 1,400,000[139] HBO
June 9, 2012 Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley Perfect Storm 700,000[140] HBO
December 8, 2012 Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Marquez IV Fight of the Decade 1,150,000[141] HBO

    Here are Mayweather's for 2012:

September 19, 2009 Floyd Mayweather vs. Juan Manuel Márquez Number One/Numéro Uno 1,100,000[153] HBO
May 1, 2010 Floyd Mayweather vs. Shane Mosley Who R U Picking? 1,400,000[154] HBO
September 17, 2011 Floyd Mayweather vs. Victor Ortiz Star Power 1,250,000[155] HBO
May 5, 2012 Floyd Mayweather vs. Miguel Cotto Ring Kings 1,500,000[156] HBO

I dont think it's enhanced if he takes a comprehensive loss. it's only enhanced if he puts up a valiant effort in a loss, like tommy hearns against marvin hagler. even though hearns lost that fight, his legacy was enhanced considerably by fight's end. floyd would have to lose a war against manny for the stock of his legacy to rise. a comprehensive, one sided loss would do nothing for his legacy as far as im concerned.

Thing is, like ive said many times before, after DLH he hasnt fought the best all the time. Who wants to see pac vs margarito??? I didnt. how about Mosley after he lost to Mayweather and a draw with Mora??? Not many. thats the reason why is buys havent been as much.

Plus Mayweather has all the black community and lots of spanish people backing him, and hes made good matchups time in and time out. Pac fighting cupcakes will not sell, plus TR PPV cards suck!!!
