Rios did some jumping to fight Arum's ******.

Mayweather is better respected by his peers in the sport than Pactrash.
Look at all the fighters that use Floyd's style.

I don't see anybody falling-in on one foot trying to be like The Pinoy Puppet:lol:

I seriously think boxing_master is mentally challenged!

Should create a 'Finger Painting' section in the forum for him.

I think some of the people on here are trying to suggest that Manny makes close what Floyd does and because he doesn't talk about his money that doesn't mean he's not pulling in the same thing....

Floyd doesn't have to give nearly 30 percent to Arum, and ticket prices and ppv prices for a Floyd fight is more than what Manny charges. That is the difference.

People talk about Canelo selling 40K to fight Trout....many of those tickets costed 10 dollars. So that 40K is fools gold...

    You question that?

I will get more specific with the time frames to further show my point. I would be pretty shocked if you disagreed, honestly.

    ---

start of 1998 or from start of careers-May, 2003

Genaro Hernandez, Angel Manfredy, Diego Corrales, Carlos Hernandez, Jesus Chavez, Jose Luis Castillo X2

    >

Chatchai Sasakul, Medgoen Singsurat, Nedal Hussein, Lehlo Ledwaba, Agapito Sanchez, Jorge Julio

    June, 2005-end of 2007

Arturo Gatti, Sharmba Mitchell, Zab Judah, Carlos Baldomir, Oscar de la Hoya, Ricky Hatton

    >

Hector Velazquez, Erik Morales II, Oscar Larios, Morales III, Jorge Solis, Marco Antonio Barrera II

    September 2009-present

Juan Manuel Marquez, Shane Mosley, Victor Ortiz, Miguel Cotto, Robert Guerrero, Saul Alvarez

    >

Miguel Cotto, Joshua Clottey, Antonio Margarito, Shane Mosley, Juan Manuel Marquez III, Timothy Bradley, Marquez IV, Brandon Rios

    ---

Pacquiao only ever had the much better opposition faced from July 2003-March 2005 and when Floyd was retired from the start of 2008-August 2009, two pretty short stints in time although in those two seperate nearly two year spans he accomplished tons while Floyd did little or nothing.

Eh Ortiz moved up from JWW not LW and Guerrero moved up from FW not LW. But both had experience at WW to get ranked in the top 5 of the division by every ranking list out there. Baldomir was a career WW I'm 90% sure. JMM moved up straight from LW with nothing in between, however what he has gone on to do at WW after facing Floyd makes that victory much, much better in retrospect. There's no other way of looking at it.

    As for the final statement...

    No.

Johnson "ducked" all fellow black fighters through his title reign, particularly a rematch with #1 Sam Langford as well as rematches with Jeannette and McVea.

Dempsey "ducked" all black fighters through his title reign, particularly #1 contender Harry Wills for 4 straight years.

If I asked you to tell me who Floyd has ducked you'd name me one ATG (Pacquiao), one HOF'er (Kostya), one shamed black eye on boxing (Margarito), and two guys who he later fought that publicly admitted to not wanting to fight Floyd back when you would claim he ducked them (Mosley, Cotto). Plus all that is without factoring in any politics whatsoever.

So, sorry, that ain't **** in the grand scheme of history.

Dig up a top 10 list at the time in the division that each ATG fought in. Everybody they didn't fight, they ducked.

...I just can't think like that. Everybody would have to have Wonjongkam sized records.

Based on their entire body of work up until this point I still say Manny gets the edge ,from 05 -07 Floyd's resume is pretty week the only real name was Oscar honestly.

South of 140 his resume is very solid I never really argued that but as he moved up his level of comp dipped because he carefully chose more names than threats .
