Say what u want bout Lucian Bute, but he STRIVED 4 Greatness. He fought Froch, the #2 168 & a p4p fighter, & Jean Pascal a top 5 175 & a dangerous fighter. Sure he lost, BUT he did it tryna reach greatness GGG is 32 still fighting guys like Adama smh Then Kirkland, a 154 boxer who.was ktfo by Ishida, & GGG will.drag him up to 160 Im glad hbo is not airing GGG/Adama, its not even.hbo2 worthy they wabt him to.step.it up!!!!!! #FightWard #FightFroch #FightKessler
this is actually true no matter how you slice it, unless GGG's handlers are reaching out to guys and they simply are not accepting the terms, or are outright declining to fight him. he should be taking at most, two fights against guys like martin murray, daniel geale or marco antonio rubio, and then stepping it up against the titleholders and looking to unify.
kirkland is a warrior and I wouldnt be surprised if his crazy ass was chomping at the bit to fight GGG...but let's be serious, Kirkland would get added to his highlight reel.
In your opinion, how should K2 go about getting any of these 3 guys in the ring with GGG? Stick a gun in someone's mouth? Dangle someone off a balcony? None of those 3 are going to get a million dollars and GGG isn't going to fight for free. Murray and Geale have already declined fights and HBO wouldn't approve Rubio as an opponent last January. Also, Rubio is the WBC mandatory and probably has a better chance fighting Sergio Martinez than GGG does.
I wonder how many silly GGG troll threads this guy intends to make. Also, out of his last 10 fights... 3 of Kirklands fights were at jrMW. Two were at Super MW. The other 5 were at MW. Yeah he should KO a MW contender or two before getting a title shot, for sure. But if a Kirkland fight happens it will be due to HBO forcing the issue, and because Kirkland wants the fight. So who cares. Bute got a fight with, and lost a fight with a guy in his own weight division. Big deal.
They can't make these contenders fight GGG. Why should they, when they can make comparable money fighting the other champions, whom they may view as an easier fight. The fights the public will want to see are 168. GGG, has had 350 amateur fights, and he's 32 so he better start making his move soon.
Both Murray and Geale were offered the fight for this next date in Monaco, both passed. Murray has passed at least 3x while Geale was earlier stripped for not making a defense vs mando ggg
:rofl He hid in Canada and Romania his whole career fighting B and C level guys while milking a strap. When he finally stepped up to elite level and left his backyard he was terrified and mentally imploded. He didn't strive for anything. He was a one trick pony running a con act in a Canada, nothing more.
Agree Geale is a total coward he turned down the Monte Carlo fight with Golovkin to fight a complete bum Garth Wood.
This is a troll thread right? It has to be because Bute is one of the most pathetic "fighters" out there today. I very rarely talk trash about a fighters heart, but his performance and effort against Pascal was pathetic.
