How can you say Mayweather fights guys with exposure while Manny doesn't? JMM got his biggest numbers against Floyd before Pac III and then again Pac IV. Pac also fought Cotto and Mosley. Guerrero and Ortiz brought less fan base/interest as an opponent than any of Pac's spare for Rios and Clottey.

By the way, anyone, did Pac vs. Rios numbers ever get confirmed? I remember reading everyone in the media saying 450k was way too generous and that the suspected number was closer to 300k.

I think you've forgotten how FM vs JMM was delayed. Mayweather claim he had a rib "injury". Rumors, again rumors, say that they weren't making enough ticket sales. They spent some time marketing the fight.

I also mentioned that the under card had something to do with the results of the event. Look at the under cards of their fights.

Morales and Alvarez fought under one of Mayweather's fight. Both has good fan base especially Alvarez.

Look at the boxers that fought against Pacquiao's under cards. I can go on and go on about this, but should they fight, the fight will probably make 3 million buys.

Mayweather was also a coward who was supposedly scared to fight Hoya, Mosley, and Canelo. He fought and beat all 3 of those guys. Mayweather has remained a top 10 p4p fighter for pretty about 15 years. He's never lost and he's beaten top comp across 5 divisions. If you don't respect him now, you never will. If he fights Pac, no matter what happens, critics will find something else to complain about. This should be painfully obvious.

Of the two boxers I admit I do think Manny Paquaio is the better fighter and a much better MAN!!!!! Floyd has all the natural boxing talent in the world but lacks the heart & cojones of an ATG. Mammy's skills are not as polished as Floyds but he more than compensates for that because Manny does have the heart & cojones of an ATG
Just imagine how great a fighter Floyd would be if he could only grow a set

The fight would likely look nothing like the OP thinks. Floyd would most likely figure out how to time Manny in 4 rds and pick him apart for the remaining eight. Whether this fight took place in Manny's so called "prime" back in 2009 or now, he makes the same mistakes in the ring, which Floyd has the tools to capitalize upon.
