All things considered, if he wants to stay the course in this profession, it's probably more the priority to just get his arse in the ring and keep his head in the game and body in reasonable shape more than who he's fighting.

He was going to fight Haye you know, that fight falling through wasn't his fault. I'm glad to see him stay active.

It's a tune up fight- so long as this guy comes to fight I'd give him a bit of slack after his inactivity.

Its a diffcult one for Fury..., needs to ease back into it but a 1st or 2nd round KO won't do him any good either

Which looks likely cause this guy has lost early to novices more than once
could they have not found someone who looks like he might go a few rounds this guy got starched by Nacsimento and it only took Fury 5 to brutally KO him

Poor choice of fight if it doesn't go past 4 rounds Fury wont get anything from it

I agree, I personally would have chosen someone who would have taken him 6 or so rounds

    Agreed.

The only fight that counts is against Derek Chisora in June which will almost certainly be a mandatory eliminator for one of the belts.

This fight against Basile is just to get back in the ring after nearly a year, the next opponent in April will be a step up but still not Top 20.

It's all about building up to the Chisora-Fury fight.

The Haye fight fell through quite some time ago. Enough time to fight a credible opponent, not a joke. Especially when he's asking his fans to sign a petition for a Wlad fight... Fury is a joke!
