Team Cotto Gives Maravilla til End of the Month

Martinez is a real broad if he don't take this fight. Who else he gonna fight? Ggg? Nooope. I have a hard time understanding how anyone picks Martinez in this fight. Cotto is to fundamentally sound. Sergio just athletic. Once that goes away he's less than average. Cotto will be middleweight champ if Sergio takes the fight. Maybe Sergio knows this. But cotto would be his biggest payday by far. N probly his last.

 

Martinez holds no cards in this... he's the one chasing big money fights.

Cotto can just wait it out and take on Canelo in June...Hell he could even fight floyd in May because he's the best option left.

Martinez will sign at 152 if he has to. He has no options.

 

On *********** Sergios handlers stated that there is no catchweight and that Cotto has not asked for one. Cotto wants it at 160.

 

If Martinez does not want this fight then Golovkin will take it ASAP!!! Golovkin would also love to fight Cotto, Quillin, Sturm, Geale, Murray, etc.

 

If there's a catchweight requirement then Sergio is better off looking for any other fight.

 

He can, easily, but now he's recovering from injuries and has been out of training for a lot of time.
It's just logic he's asking for no additional catchweights.

Cotto, on the other hand, looks scared of fighting the Maravilla at middleweight.

 

A catchweight for this fight is utter nonsense.

Consider this: the whole point of this fight is (for Cotto) to become the linear MW-champ. For Sergio it is just money. With that title Cotto can challenge both Mayweather and Canelo. There is totally no point in doing a catchweight because if he does (at let's say 157) then he cannot later say to Floyd Mayweather that the fight must be at 160. And that is his only chance to beat Floyd.

Catchweight for this fight makes no sense whatsoever.

 

So Cotto has a chance to beat Floyd if the fight is at 160, but no chance at 157 even though he himself is relatively small for 154? Okay then. :nut

 

Every other fight aside from Mayweather, Pacquiao or Canelo would be for relative peanuts. So how exactly would he be "better off looking for ANY other fight"?

 

Wait you boys are confusing me last i heard cotto said no catch weight.

 

I heard the disputed is a silly one like who enters first in the ring and who will be presented first those are the details, mentioned in a puertorican news paper. There are no catch weight they resolve that is only a proud thing in the ring.
