What do you guys think about this fight scheduled for tonight? I am curious to see how Curtis looks after the last fight. The kid has heart and he also has a strange style of boxer in front of him with MaJewski MaJewski is perhaps the funniest boxer in the world. This guy could make a living doing stand up:good :smoke
Majewski should be the perfect opponent for Curtis to look good against. I'll be surprised if this goes six. It's hard for me not to overly weigh the Torres fight here.
Yeah - it's actually an interesting fight, Majewski is no pushover and I'm expecting him to try and keep Stevens at range behind the jab, but FWIW I'm expecting a Stevens KO, most likely fairly early. I'm also keepiing an eye on the Cornelius White fight tonight - looks to be a potentially good one gainst unbeaten prospect T. Williams Jr - I'm expecting the White win fairly handily but you never can tell with a guy coming off a bad loss.
I look forward to seeing Curtis back in the ring. I actually think Stevens beats a lot of MWs with some minor adjustments to his game. In my opinion, his stock is on the way up and I'm optimistic about his future in the MW division. It wouldn't surprise me to see him wearing a belt down the road if he continues to devote himself to the sport and can make some minor tweaks.
I will never be a fan of this guy. I still get angry about all the **** he talked before the GGG fight. Claiming he would bathe in his blood and pulling the stunt with the coffin. I laughed hysterically when his fat ass mother kept walking away from her seat while GGG was torturing him.
says he is going to kill golovkin before their fight but ends up throwing in the towel. yeah what a warrior
L like that song Lynyrd Skynyrd wrote about him. The ballad of Curtis(Lowe) Stevens. I would put up a link but I have not been a member long enough for that privledge.
I feel Curtis has the goods to get back on track after GGG but tonight will show if he can bounce back from being beaten badly :good :smoke
I agree, but I made it a point long ago to remove my like for them as a boxer from my like for them as a person. I found that I'd end up hating half of the guys in the sport, if I cared about who they were as a person, but I don't blame you. He's definitely not someone I would associate with as a person, but I'm just watching him as an athlete on TV, so that's the difference for me.
