Mchunu is tiny for a cruiserweight. He's only 5'8", compared to Durodola, who is 6'2".

    Round 2

Durodola is pressing in, chasing after Mchunu's head with his jab. Durodola drops a right hand to the body stepping in. Their legs tangle as Mchunu lands a right hook and left hand up on the head and sends Durodola backward, sat on his butt. The commentator calls it a slip but the ref gives a count. Mchunu plays possum after drifting onto the ropes and lets Durodola dive in with a long 1-2, countering with a corkscrew left and right hook generating extra leverage with his back coming off the ropes. Durodola is walking into Mchunu's traps. Durodola spends the last half minute cautiously putting out long jabs. Mchunu steps in past them and lets his right jab trickle up onto Durodola's face. Long straight combo by Durodola; Mchunu diving below it rattles hard straights off the body and then hooks up top making Durodola jerk outside.

    10-8 Mchunu

    20-17 Mchunu

Not the first time Mchunu has given up that much height.

In fact, he kayoed 6'5" Danie Venter. :good

    ...and 6'4" Flo Simba, twice.

    ...and beat 6'3" Daniel Bruwer.

...and schooled 6'1" former heavyweight contender Fast Eddie Chambers.

Better round for Durudola, looks like Mchunu ain't entirely comfortable with some extra pressure, but still Mchunu for me

    Round 3

Durodola is following Mchunu and drilling in low with the 1-2, collapsing himself like a lawn chair as he folds inside with his punches. Mchunu hangs back and counters with curveball lefts twisting clockwise and left hooks twisting counterclockwise depending on where in his rhythm he is when Durodola comes in. Mchunu is flashing out pot shot counters, one and done, backing up to the ropes and luring Durodola in.

    10-9 Mchunu

    30-26 Mchunu

He's got a great style. Very hard to hit because of his head movement and compactness.

BJ Flores says the winner of this gets a crack at Diablo Wlodarczyk.

    Round 4

Durodola is swinging the right hand down behind his pecking double jab, seeking the elusive head of Mchunu. Right forearm blocks by Mchunu as he backs up. Mchunu cracks Durodola on the cheek with high counter right hooks. Durodola is able to stuff in a right hand on the forehead but Mchunu ducks with it and takes the sting off while landing a counter hook. Mchunu creeps into a corner and throws up quick counters ducking low when Durodola follows him in.

    10-9 Mchunu

    40-35 Mchunu

    Round 5

Mchunu is having fun now, grinning at Durodola as he draws him across the ring and into the ropes, swinging his right arm by his side around his torso. Mchunu is dropping his guard and giving Durodola a clear lane for the jab, then squatting under it or letting it skid over his eye sockets and harmlessly off his widow's peak while timing powerful counter hooks coming up off deeply bent knees.

    10-9 Mchunu

    50-44 Mchunu

Mchunu really is good - the Chambers fight was the first time I'd seen him and sometimes it's hard to tell if it's matchup thing, but...damn.
