I pretty much agree with you on this. To be fair, Floyd would be able to claim a charity tax write off as well and he would receive a big refund back, whereas Manny's refund would just go towards settling his debt. So Floyd would in fact see some money from the fight in that way.

However, I agree that it would be stupid for Floyd to accept and would make a lot more money just fighting Pacquaio with his normal arrangements or fighting a combination of Khan and Maidana to equal his pacquaio winnings.
