I don't know why CF has vacated the EBU belt and does not want to fight for the IBF eliminator. Maybe Mcguigan has lost 'the punch', these are not logical decisions when you don't have a signed fight. Kiko is gonna fight that japanese fossil in April before Carl closes a fight.

 

I think Carl explained that the IBF were stringing him along in a long drawn out process and that he felt it would be 2015 before he got a title shot.
He has already spent one year more or less spinning his wheels, and doesn't want to waste 2014 too, I guess.
Also It's fairly obvious that KIko would be in no hurry to fight Cf again.

As for the EBU, I don't know about.....maybe Carl and co saw that as a step backwards??

Either way this awful inactivity must end soon ...he must fight soon!

That's right mate. Jeff Mathebula was Kiko's mandatory just there so Frampton would have had to wait another 9 month or so to get his mandatory shot.

To be fair to team Frampton no one is forming a queue to fight him.
