That is far more sensible and what it almost certainly was meant to be. It was just human error, swapping numbers in data entry, that doesn't take a lot of intimate knowledge with the workings of handicapping to suss out.
In a two dog race like boxing you don't get both guys priced at well under a dollar in the favorites' range, just as you wouldn't see them both well over a dollar. (of course a situation like Prizefighter is different, where there's a field of several). Yes, obviously, 1/4 is longer than 1/2. :roll: Those are still both values you would only see on a favorite in a straight-up mano a mano boxing match. It's plain as day one or the other (probably the 1/2) got flipped by accident.
Betfair exchange odds, people, not bookmakers, are offering you those prices, the actual bookmakers IE Betfair's sportsbook, william hill, paddy power whoever haven't got their odds out yet, they are going to be the actual odds. Simple.
thers no liquidity in betfair so long ebfore the fight and as some have said no relevance shud be paid to this price yet. wish we wouldnt talk about what price shud be as definately bookmakers odds compilers will look at these boards before priceing up to guage opinion and personally i was hoping for silly price on crawford.
There will probably still be crazy prices on Crawford I've generally noticed the away fighter who most guys haven't heard of always get crazy odds even when boxing fans and Ricky himself has Crawford as the favourite for the fight but I'll still take Ricky to win.
