skills wins fight not size. rigo will dominate 126. gradovich wouldn't land a punch. lomachenko would be a great 50-50 fight.
The weight he fights at is only 2lbs heavier than wat he fought at at amateur so hes fighting at a weight he has always fought at! he could make bantamweight but no lower! but wat u said is true!
Yeah Rigo...possibly will freak out on the concept of dehydrating a bit to make weight :yep Roman Gonzalez @105 walked in the ring near 120, Miyazaki held WBA 105 came in the ring over 120. So dehydrating to 112 is fairly easy without the need to dehydrate his organs like desperate champions do...draining the muscle rapidly has no serious effects...aslong as it done fast & dehydration doesn't reach the organs ...this is something he possibly never done..but its part of the advantages today
Bad move in my opinion. He doesn't rehydrate much when he fights at 122. He could probably make 118. He isn't a big guy either. He looks to be only 5'3 or 5'4. He looked like he was giving up 15 pounds when he fought Donaire. He would be better served riding out his contract with Arum, and then bouncing to the company that will put him in proper fights
Yes Yes c'mon Rigo vs Lombochenko in 2015 the two greatest amateurs of all time going at it. Rigo will school everybody at FW except maybe Lombo love to see him in with Gradovich that would be tough but Rigo is to good and skilled to loose even to FW's hell he'd win a belt at 130 IMO Why did his team not start him at least at 115, he could easily be a 3 weight world champion by now and possibly a 4 weight one soon if he moves to FW guy could be p4p 1 if he started at 115 or hell he could have made 112 i reckon easily a 4 weight champion, he could end his career with belts in like 6 weights if he started at 112.
I don't disagree with that. Height could be an issue for him though. He didn't seem as aggressive against the two tallest guys he fought, Cordoba, and Marroquin. If he gets in with a more skilled tall guy who pumps the jab he may have some issues
cordova was his first 12 round in his seven fight, and he fought marroquin in the middle of a contract disput, 3 days before the fight he was in a Miami court to find out if he were to fight or not, on top of that marroquyin was like a lw the night of the fight and the Cuban weighted 125 pounds, actually I talk to his trainer and he told me that he have to drag Rigondeaux from his bed for the fight, he was upset and depressed, still he put the much bigger guy on the floor and won almost every round, and it was an off night...
I'd rather see him stay at 122 and just tell everyone to **** off. He is a small 122. I don't want to see him lose simply because he is fighting at a weight class he should not be. I want to see him lose because the other guy is better.
