And it doesn't justify him getting the award no matter what you *****s say.
It's about in ring achievements not who is beloved most by casual fans !

Who is justifying anything? I said "these awards don't mean anything." You *******s are the ones who bring up meaningless titles like FOTD, Most Catchweights Award ... that Manny has won. Seems like you're a little butt hurt from Floyd winning this.

Why would anyone care if he is popular or not? I don't see many "*******s" arguing that Mayweather is less popular; in fact, I primarily see Mayweather fanatics arguing about this sort of useless crap (often talking about how much money Floyd makes). Most people who are fanatically attached to one boxer are awful, but the Mayweather obsessed have completely dwarfed the stupidity of the "*******s". Why can't you people just appreciate the sport of boxing? Why are you lobbying for one fighter who doesn't give a **** about you?

Not at all Bradley was more deserving ,Manny is def the fighter of the decade .,The body of work speaks for itself!

It's only meaningless because *****s can't stand the fact that the guy Floyd continues to duck has been recognized as the best fighter in the last ten yrs ..

Seems more your butt is hurt !

I am totally "butthurt" that this generation of boxing fans are a bunch of dumb fanboys. You suck and this sport deserves better.

Look at your post, it is barely even English. How ashamed of you is your family? I wish Mayweather and Pacquiao would both die so the sport could move on from the likes of you.

No knock to Mayweather but I've always thought awards of this nature are, and always will be in large part, popularity contest. These awards very rarely take into account the body of work these fighters put in, cause if they did Mayweather probably wouldn't have won it. These awards are as subjective as the way boxing matches are scored.

Mayweather is certain to win Ring Magazine's fighter of the year award as well.

This award is given out by The Boxing Writers Association of America. It's voted on by all boxing writers, who write about and follow the sport closely.
