Adama is a solid fighter, GGG haters are underrating him

Dude, you take no criticizm towards Golovkin whatsoever, it's highly suspicious. You are either affiliated with Golovkin (which I don't believe) or you are deluded beyond belief. I don't think I have ever read a critical word about him from you. Just how exactly did you expect people to react to a thread that's trying to sell us Adama as a legit opponent for a 30+ MW who has never faced a legitimate MW but is said to be the best in his division? Unless you have any personal relation to him, your behaviour is completely irrational. Also, I have no idea why you are equating Adama to anything Ward has done or fought. Firstly, Rodriguez is a good opponent, Adama is not (not by a long shot), secondly, even if Rodriguez was a bad opponent, I don't see how that excuses Golovkin to fight C level boxers at this stage of his career. Ward is younger and has multiple high profile wins, and Golovkin is surely inot adjusting his fight schedule to other bad, criticized schedules out there, is he?

 

OK, Forza, I'll humor you. Who has Golovkin fought that compares to Froch, Bika, Abraham, Miranda, or Rodriguez?

Macklin only became a C level fighter, and only to certain people around here - after GGG beat him. Same with Stevens. There were plenty of people saying both were gonna expose him.

Instead of hating, I think its reasonable to see if 2014 brings a step up. The MC date had been set for a long time, it had been a case of a date looking for an opponent since last summer.

Bigger ratings should mean bigger fights in 2014. If it doesnt happen, then yeah.. somethings wrong. If April/Summer of 2014 bring Geale and Murray, then those are legit match ups on HBO for the winner to angle for a fight with winner of Cotto/Martinez.

I guess I just find it funny that people talk about how GGG is overhyped.. then dont even want him to stick around as a high profile MW long enough to work through all the top guys, and instead go straight to Ward.:nut As if cleaning out MW was a foregone conclusion or something and the only legit threat is Andre. Seriously.. who is really doing the hyping here?

 

I hope Monaco has nice hospital for Adama to spend his vacation.

Agree, Geale is a bum he went life and death with Adama and just managed to scrape by him, although the scorecards were already cooked as the fight was in Geale's home town of Tasmania. One of the Shonkiest boxing fight nights you will ever see.

The fight itself was a flapping slap fest and on the undercard Billy Dib was aloud to get away with numerous low blows and elbows to defend his title.

anyway, i didnt see the Dib fight but yeah, that Geale-Adama wasn't much to look at.

 

I won't be surprised if Golovkin loses.

I guess that is part of life with insular populations of animals with little genetic diversity.
