    crawford points

i think in his last few fights burns has been fortunate not to have a loss to gonzales and beltran and think this one maybe just a little step too far but dont think he will be stopped as hes tough as nails

Its hard to really gauge where Burns is right now for me, i know what weve seen in the past-prior to his last 2 fights, but those 2 have really clouded things

yeah I totally agree, if he performs like he did against gonzalez he will get beat no doubts about it, but he was training for 3 fights before that fight so he might of over trained, with regards to beltran I don't think you can take anything out of that fight as the injury meant he couldn't perform , saying that he showed amazing heart and determination to see it through even though he lost.

Ricky has had a good rest due to the injury and is preparing for this fight differentely than in the past having a conditioning coach, so this might make a huge difference in his power and speed. If the ricky burns who fought Mitchell turns up he will will im confident of that

I hope you're right, i really want the lad to put a nightmare 18months behind him, win clearly and have the backing of the fans again.

There are reasons like you pointed out for those performances but because of that is hard to see where he stands in the division right now.

I'll stick my neck out and take Burns 10-12.
I'm going more with my heart than my head here, but i'm not sure where Ricky's head and confidence are at after the last two fights, injury and promotional issue's.
As for Crawford, i've not seen enough of him to be able to make a confident prediction either way. His best win is a well past it Prescott, and he's yet to go the full distance.
Crawford may well be a very good fghter in the making, but i've seen more experienced fighters unravel when faced with a hostile crowd, and an opponent who wont tire and keeps pressing forward.
