Can't wait for this! Going for a Martinez win by UD. Don't think Cotto will be up to much at 160.

love watchin both this fighters.. whether 160 will be a step too far or if martinez's legs have gone it will be most certainly entertaining till the end.

just hope sergio has enough in the bank to set up a competive fight for GGG... martinez deserves more then to go out on his career then be sparked out after a beating

Cotto should have taken whatever ridiculous demands Alvarez wanted and made the fight with him. He at least had a gd chance to win that fight. Against Martinez at 160, he's going to be seriously outsized and outgunned and unless Martinez is really shot, he's going to lose bad. Shame too I like Cotto and Martinez, but the dynamics of the fight do not favor Cotto at all

This is a rather intriguing fight.

Martinez has looked his worst in his last outings, Miguel Cotto has looked strong, be it against Devin Rodriguez, he still looked pretty strong.

Also this is a step up in weight for Miguel, who is already on the small side at 154lbs.

I'll go with Martinez by T/KO, he should really get up for this fight and I expect him to be in top shape.

If everything's official good fight, I'm a Martinez fan but Cotto is a HOFer at this point its dumb to count him out in a reasonable fight. People are gonna harp on size but Martinez started at WW Cotto at JWW, MW is Martinez 3rd weight and Cotto's 4th Martinez has been there longer but he admittedly seems there for the taking. Knowing both fighters its should be a great fight can't wait.

cotto is 5'6" and sergio is 5'10" and cotto was never a one-punch ko guy past 140

if sergio is 80 percent of what he was against chavez cotto is going to lose badly.

This fight is a joke since it's for the lineal championship . . . And people complain about Golovkin's opponents! I guess Martinez doesn't want to end his career asleep on a ring canvas, which is understandable. But that the fans are seemingly supporting this fight is a laugh!

Would love for this cherry pick to go wrong and Cotto to win but can't see it. Sergio picking a naturally much smaller guy but given a pass I see unlike certain other fighters.
