Castillo won 7-5.

So people shouldn't bring up a fight that happened that long ago, however questionable the decision ?
Then neither should they try and excuse a clear loss, based on Floyd winning a rematch.
Castillo won, and won clearly, get over it.

 

I had Mayweather by a round - but you can make argument either way. In no way shape or form is it a clear unanimously agreed Castillo victory like your post implies.

And anyway if a somewhat debated narrow win from 10 years ago, fighting injured against a very good boxer, immediately followed up by a more comprehensive victory next time out is biggest blemish people can find on Mayweather's record then it just goes to show how ****ing good he's been.

What is there to justify? Judges, AP, NY times, history ... all saw him winning it. All you haters can say Castillo won in a close fight, but the fact is he didn't. Show proof from majority of credible writers at the time saying Castillo was robbed. All I see are FORUM experts blabbing off as usual.

Got off to a flyer, that is what won him this fight.

 

Havent watched it in a while but had Floyd by 1 point in a tough fight

 

LOL yet mayweather is undefeated. sad that it has come to trying to bring down one of the greatest fighters of all time. It was close but Weatherman won both. I would suggest you get over it. History can't be changed.

I had it 7-5 to Floyd. There were some close rounds but I don't think Castillo won. It was a draw at best if you want to be biased.

 

It was a clear W for Castillo. There is a such thing as "close, but clear".

Rounds 5-8. Castillo.

9 Even due to deduction.

10 Even or Castillo

11. Castillo 10-8

12. Castillo.

If you scored it for Floyd, then you lack the knowledge to score a fight properly or are a biased Mayweather fan.

Floyd didn't cleanly take a single round after the 4th. Now, he did win the rematch cleanly in a competitive bout, but he didn't win this one injury or not.
