Carl Frampton vs Hugo Cazares Set For April 4th

Good looking fight - won't be easy for Carl. Looking to head over to Belfast for this

 

this will either be easy or very very hard. theguy is you would think smaller being a former flyweight so may be a easy ko but then again ex champ and a mexican he could make it hell too

he's ranked above Carl by the WBC its the best route to Santa Cruz and the WBC belt.

 

Not disputing that but doesn't really excite me that's all. To be fair when they make fights they prob don't think to themselves, I wonder if this fight will excite Sharpy

 

And if he wins and gets Santa Cruz? Would that make up for it :hey

 

Good fight and a great route to go to eliminator for the WBC it's a harder fight for Carl then it may sound this guy is not some well past it blown up super flyweight he is ranked above Carl by the WBC and will be a far tougher fight then Parodi outside of maybe KIKO this is Carl's toughest fight but none the less he should win and bring on Santa Cruz baby!

 

El Increible is a legit opponent and honestly good enough that it would make this a credible bout were there a vacant world title at stake and not just an eliminator.

I seem to remember me being shot down on here for suggesting Santa Cruz will blow Frampton away, most posters citing "Santa Cruz is picking on smaller guys" :yep :good

 

I seem to remember you ramming it down some other posters throat that Carl and Kiko were dead level on the cards at the time of the stoppage, fella.

What I don't remember is you coming back to fess up when your goof was pointed out to you!

Oh and Carl isn't "picking" on smaller guys, Einstein. This fight is an eliminator for a title shot. This guy is WBC number 1 contender. Carl HAS to get past him to become LSCs mando. There is a difference. :-(

The guy is an over the hill Flyweight mate, you really have no argument against the fact Frampton is fighting a smaller guy beyond the twilight of his career. That unfortunately, is the cold hard FACT's.

I don't make goof's, in the small time I have for myself between a demanding professional life, I actually study and used to practice the sport of boxing, I know the sport mate.

For what it may be worth I think Cazares will make this fight completive, I was just merely pointing out the hypocrisy of the Jr Posters on the site :thumbsup

 

Also worth commending young Scott Quigg who immediately took to Ringside to point out Frampton's choice of opponent in the light of shall we say "varied" options …….. Including Quigg himself.

 

Also worth pointing out, Frampton's promoter cannot and will not secure Rigondeaux or Santa Cruz on home soil, which means the fight will not happen under his promotional banner as he doesn't do away days.

He (the man in question) will likely move to secure Quigg Frampton (in a co-promotion) before the afor-mentioned.

Just my opinion.

 

Quigg would say that to be fair to him, but he's has never been in with anybody as good as Cazares.
