    Im gonna say Oscar DLH!

I thought he lost almost all his big fights. hes got a couple against some good ones but when he could become a way bigger star then what he was (and he was a huge star) He failed!

Running away against Trinidad the last few rounds really changed his career. he still went on to win more titles but that was huge. Lots of mexicans threw him under the bus. should've got the decision but man u can run like that.

The fight against Mosley was another one that could've propel him but he lost that one also. damn good fight but still lost.

Middle weight King? had the chance, just outclassed but an ATG.

The Mayweather fight was another won. Past his prime but another chance against a punk (and he played that roll) in Mayweather in front of the biggest ppv audience ever, he didnt step up and got outboxed clearly

Fights i thought he should've won. trinidad, Mosley 2. fights he should've lost. Quartey (hell yeah he lost that fight) Sturm (we all know) Whitaker (close fight but i thought he lost) so if u say he won those 2 fights i mention then i add these 3 losses and he gets an extra L.

I always thought he was way overrated! and in my eyes the most overrated in the last 20 years. u guys are gonna come up with some good ones, this is just mine state yours :bbb:bbb

Only reason DLH has loses is cause he always fought the best.

FLip Dlh and FLoyd's resume and I'm pretty confident DLH comes out undefeated and Floyd gets a few loses.

That's a bit of an overstatement. Steve Forbes was not the best. Neither was Mayorga or Yory Boy. He fought some great fighters, but he fought his share of no hopers as well.

Disregard the word "always", and my point stands.

DLH still has more #1 PFP fighters(past or current at the time he fought them) on his resume than anyone else I can think of.

My criteria is obviously different because I am considering push from the start of their pro career related to what they actually accomplished.

For me it has to be Ponchito Bojado. SHOWTIME was paying him 150K per fight bewfore he had double digit fights and he invariably faded badly after his first loss and retired shortly thereafter.

At the time him and Jeff Lacy were considered the future of the sport.

its hard to argue with your reasoning.

One fighter I think who also was overrated was JCC. Not that he wasnt very good but I do not think he should rank as the GOAT Mexican that many fans do. He lost to Pernell by BADLY and was lucky Richard Steele was the ref against Taylor. You could almost consider his first 50 fights or so as amateur
